Just because I breathe really hard, Grandpa always thinks I'm asleep.

I will be happily playing and I will hear him whisper to Grandma, "Shh. The Little One is sleeping." He likes to call me "The Little One."

I was walking with my Aunty Patti and Grandma and we passed by a bakery named 'Jade'. I pointed to the sign and then pointed to myself and they were shocked.

They had no idea I could read.

I'm one smart kid.

Yesterday, my grandma, my mommy and I made cupcakes. I wanted to eat the batter just like my Aunty Mary but they wouldn't let me.

I was so anxious to eat the cupcakes that I ran over to grab one as my mommy took it out of the oven. I was shocked by how hot it was. My grandma and my mommy freaked out and my grandma ran lots of cold water over my hand.

My grandma is very strict like a military sergeant. Every night after I finish eating my dinner from my favorite bowl, she makes me 'walk, walk, walk' from one end of the house to the other. I'd much rather do other things like play with water so I sign 'water' over and over but she insists I do these laps. Sometimes, I throw myself on the ground to try and make the walking stop but that doesn't seem to work.

On Friday, I will be doing a walk-a-thon at school with my classmates. We will walk once around the field.
